The Rodney T. Mathews, Jr. Memorial Scholarship for California Indians provides up to$10,000 for the 2012-2013 Academic Year and was established to assist California Indian students in pursuing their educational goals. The mission of the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria is to preserve and promote our cultural and traditional beliefs; improve quality of life and self-sufficiency; uphold tribal sovereignty; create positive partnerships; and protect the environment in order to provide a healthy community, honor our elders, and guide our youth.

Are you in need of assistance with child care or family services or are you looking for assistance with job preparation, work or marriage needs?
The Trinidad Rancheria is a member of the California Tribal TANF Partnership and can provide referral services & assistance with TANF services and programs.
Temporary assistance programs include: cash assistance, educational activities to increase family self-sufficiency, welfare diversion assistance and supportive services.
